from J. D.

"Among other things, you'll find that you're not the first person who was ever confused and frightened and even sickened by human behavior. You're by no means alone on that score, you'll be excited and stimulated to know. Many, many men have been just as troubled morally and spiritually as you are right now. Happily, some of them kept records of their troubles. You'll learn from them--if you want to. Just as some day, if you have something to offer, someone will learn something from you. It's a beautiful reciprocal arrangement. And it isn't education. It's history. It's poetry."
~ J. D. Salinger ~

Check out this Web site!! Hope you like it.

Hmm, Franny and Zooey, wasn't titilated. Haven't read Catcher yet either, it's been on my list for eons as well. Maybe when I move away (even though I'm in denial yet) we can have a book club of two (or whoever is interested) and read it at the same time from afar. What say you?
    Have a great weekend!

  2. P.S. Trying to leave a comment on your blog is comparable to gaining access to the Pentagon...what gives?

Actually, I guess it's better to put safety first. Well done.

  3. Ha ha, I figured it was a good idea to moderate comments. I want to know what people are putting on my blog. :)And yes, let's have a long-distance book club!
